A great question. The Bible teaches very clearly that Jesus will come back again. No-one knows just when He will return. But it will be sudden and visible. He is coming back to judge everyone - those who are alive and those who have died. The dead will be raised to life, and so everyone who has ever lived will face the judgement of God. Those who have personally trusted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour are already saved, and will be declared righteous on that day. They will be happy for ever with the Lord Jesus Christ in Heaven. But those who have never trusted Jesus as their Saviour will be declared guilty and condemned to face everlasting punishment in Hell. The teaching of the Bible is very plain on these matters. This should stir up in us the urgent desire to know the forgiveness and everlasting life which only Jesus Christ can give. The only Saviour is Jesus Christ, who, being the eternal Son of God, became a man, and so was, and continues to be, God and man in two natures, and one person, for ever. He lived a perfectly holy life, and yet by dying on the Cross, He took the guilt and punishment of men and women like us.
